Hip Wo cleans up Typhoon Havoc after Mangkhut shuts Hong Kong
Mangkhut, probably the most powerful typhoon in Hong Kong’s observatory record, was to be blamed for a catastrophic damage to our city. Likewise our neighborhood in Hip Wo Street was hit hard and tress were toppled or snapped posing dangers to the livelihoods. A group of 15 teachers and staff decided to take the matter in their own hands and bring normalcy to the streets by clearing the debris, snapped trees and offering support needed to the policemen and firemen on 17th and 18th September. This is the Hong Kong spirit we want to instill in our students’ value education.
