Tertiary Education in Taiwan – Expanding Multi-study Pathways

On 20/10 and 21/10, guests from Mingdao University and ShouFu University in Taiwanvisited our school. Through seminars and sharing sessions, the guests briefed our students information about overseas study in Taiwan and answered students’ inquiries.

Since 2012/13, our school has been expanding multi-study pathways for our S6 students, establishing close connections with various tertiary institutions in Taiwan, including universities such as Ming Chuan, I-Shou, Mingdao, Fo Guang as well as Fortune Institute of Technology. Furthermore, through organizing student visits to various institutes in Taiwan and co-organizing short-term overseas courses, we aim to enhance students’ understanding of various universities in Taiwan and raise their awareness in career planning. The effectiveness is gradually seen under years of effort, as overseas study in Taiwan has become a major option for our graduates (especially for non-Chinese speaking students). According to our statistics, over 30 Chinese and non-Chinese students of our school are receiving tertiary education in Taiwan.
