Constructing a harmonious campus—developmental plans revealed during the annual staff meeting
On 16/1/2015, the 2nd annual staff meeting was held, with the agenda concerning the school developmental plan. This year is the last year of the 3rd cycle school developmental plan. Apart from reviewing the progress of the major concerns, emphasis was also put on the school developmental plan of the next cycle (2015/16 – 2018/19). In response to the multi-ethnic diversity, we propose ‘constructing a harmonious campus’ as our major concern. Experience taught us that only mutual understanding and interaction can eliminate misconception and prejudice. The only way of treating different religions and cultures is respect and acceptance, instead of disregard and rejection. Any ideals need to be actualized through actions. Because of this, we will start from ‘eliminating language barriers’ and ‘enhance everyday interaction’, which aim to facilitate cultural interaction among different ethnicities and construct a culturally diverse and harmonious campus. In order to perfect our plans, we would like to invite all parents to participate together by offering us your valuable opinions.
