Panel Head Meeting facilitates professional development via evaluation

On 21/1, the 2nd panel head meeting was held on the 8/F conference room. Apart from the routine supervisory tasks, some panel heads were invited to share their progress on the student work design, curriculum planning and betterment on the students’ learning assessment, which contributed the overall conclusion and reflection of one of the major concerns—curriculum planning. 

Note: The panel head meeting is one of the major components of our ‘Teaching and Learning Quality Assurance Mechanism’. The nature of the mechanism includes supervision, quality circle assurance as well as professional dialogues and it has two major components: (1)conferences in various levels –conference within the Teaching and Learning Division, panel head meeting and subject level meeting. (2) Co-lesson planning/lesson observation / lesson evaluation, looking at student work (LASW), co-curricular activity observation.
