Winners of ‘Lee Hysan Scholarship for the Ethnic Minorities’ obtained sponsors for overseas studies in Singapore
Ayesha Momingo and Jobanjit Singh won the scholarship for the Ethnic Minorities, sponsored by the Lee Hysan Foundation. They will be fully granted (including fees for tuition, transportation, everyday expenses and expenses for parents’ visit) for overseas studies in the United World College in Singapore, which is a 2 to 3-year-diploma course on International Baccalaureate.
The Lee Hysan Foundation was founded in 1973 and has been actively supporting local charity events, which benefit the underprivileged in Hong Kong and supplement the domains where mainstream charities and government grants have yet to cover. The scholarship for the Ethnic Minorities was established in 2012 and it has been the 3rd year, which provides children of ethnic minorities 2 vacancies for overseas study in Singapore every year. There are 4 winners from our school so far.
