Success in the Lunar New Year Fair Stalls indicated the successful application of BAF theories
During 13/2 to 18/2, our students conducted sales activities in the Lunar New Year fair stalls in Victoria Park. Launched by the Parent-Teacher Association in 2009, it has become an annual tradition. Reviewing the financial records of the past 6 years, there were profits every year. The committee of the Lunar New Year Fair stalls comprises secondary 4/5 students who study BAF (Business, Accounting and Finance). Under the guidance of teachers, the students applied their knowledge in various contexts, which included drafting proposals, purchasing products, handling logistics and transportation, managing resources and brainstorming marketing strategies. Therefore, this is considered as a life-wide learning activity which starts from theory to actual practice, with its significance beyond profit or deficit.
