Alumni attended seminars of overseas studies in Taiwan and fulfilled the function of clustering
Expanding multi-pathways of further studies is one of the major concerns of our school’s life-wide planning education. After years of effort, there are over 30 graduates who are presently studying in various tertiary institutes. On 11/2, over 20 alumni who are currently studying in Taiwan went to our school for sharing sessions with schoolmates who would also like to go to Taiwan for further studies. Summarizing our past experience, we discovered the gradual development of a ‘clustering culture’— alumni and students are forming a mutual support network, where they share and exchange experience of further studies in Taiwan. This effectively facilitates the expansion of multi-pathways of further studies. (Note: ‘Clustering’ is a concept widely used in Economics, which means industries of similar nature gather together so that the advantages can be exerted and economical benefits can be maximized. Simultaneously, the concept of clustering is also used in expanding multi-pathways of further studies. )
