‘Facebook’ platform proves effective—a steady increase in the number of graduates going to Taiwan for further studies
Our school has dedicated in expanding multi-pathways of further studies in recent years. Apart from Hong Kong, tertiary institutes in Mainland China and Taiwan have become two of the most popular options among graduates. According to statistics, there are currently 37 alumni who are studying in various tertiary institutes in Taiwan. Among them, 25 are non-Chinese speaking students and 12 are Chinese students (refer to Appendix 1). Furthermore, in order to launch the counseling tasks of further studies in Taiwan, we have initiated a Facebook group entitled ‘My Bright Future’, which aims at enhancing interactions among peers and launch the counselling work of further studies effectively. Meanwhile, the Alumni Association is planning to set up its first overseas branch, named ‘Alumni Association of Delia Hip Wo (Taiwan)’. Details will be announced soon.
