Active Participation in Anti-discrimination activities
In order to echo with the Anti-Discrimination Day on 21/3, the Hong Kong Unison organized a series of public campaigns to promote the positive message of eliminating racial discrimination. Being in the multicultural campus, concepts such as racial equality and anti-discrimination have been internalized into our students. As a result, our students actively participated in these events. The first activity was ‘Discover In.Visible Hong Kong’, which was a charitable city hunt competition. We have a total of 8 students of different ethnic backgrounds participating in the event. Among them Mazam Ali, Rajpreet Singh, Wat Man Yu and Ye Xin Chen won the 2nd runner-up. Furthermore, 22 members of the School Dance Team participated in the flashmob dancing activity entitled ‘Flash in.True Hong Kong’, which used dance as a medium to break through language and cultural barriers and advocate the positive message of racial harmony.
