Flexible and Multiple pathways for Hipwoers
Back in 2009, when we had to implement the New Senior Secondary (NSS) curriculum, the Career and Guidance Committee in our school valued the importance of our Hipwoers to get hold of comprehensive and up-to-date information on study pathways and programmes when planning for their future. This idea of multiple pathways was designed as a curriculum for our secondary 4 to secondary 6 students.
Over the graduation of five cohorts (2012-2016), we have guided our students with flexible and diversified pathways with multiple entry and exit points. By adopting the differentiated strategy in catering for the academic diversity in school, our students not only chose for the traditional undergraduate programmes in Joint University Programmes Admission System (JUPAS), but also undergraduate courses and sub-degree courses available in Information Portal for Accredited Post- secondary Programmes (iPASS), Electronic Advance Application System for Post-secondary Programmes (E-APP), Taiwan and Mainland China. This year a total of 25 students received JUPAS offer while other offers are yet to be accounted for. It is indeed pleasing to see our students mastering their own future. Notably, Zhu Jinfang whose DSE score was good enough to secure an undergraduate course opted for a higher diploma course in geomatics instead so as to pursue her career dream in future.
