Speech Festival, a platform for our students to showcase their vocal variety
Like every year, we have almost 400 students taking part in the Speech Festival organized by the Hong Kong Schools Music and Speech Association. The students who participate in the event benefits in terms of building their interest and raise their English and Chinese standard in speech, drama, poetry and prose. In addition to that, we have seen their confidence level and sense of achievement is gradually enhanced.
The competition kicked off in mid-November and is expected to conclude by mid-December. For time being, our students achieved five third places in solo-verse poem recital in English and Chinese; one third place in English prose reading and one third place in English choral speaking. We shall update you with the final students’ achievement and conclusion in the next issue.
