From Theory to Practice: A symposium on Self-regulated Learning (SRL)
On 3rd December, a symposium entitled “SRL in practice” was held to follow-up on how the teaching faculty would implement their SRLs after the November training and one of our key strategies in enhancing classroom learning and teaching effectiveness. Dr. Hui Sau Yan of the Education Faculty of the University of Hong Kong led the discussion, listened to several SRL plans and offered his feedback on enhancing and fine-tuning the plans. The symposium provided a platform for curriculum leaders and members of the teaching faculty to further enhance their understanding of the SRL conception in classroom setting and honing their skills in implementing their SRL plans.
