Regular beyond-the-classroom learning activity to consolidate classroom learning

Learning in Hip Wo is not only confined in classroom. Members of our teaching faculty make good use of the community resources to broaden students’ horizon so that our students can make their learning more relevant and related to their daily lives. Recently, students of Tourism & Hospitality Studies (THS) visited a hotel in Kwun Tong with an aim on furthering their understanding the accommodation sector and its career pathways. Students felt the visit was able to consolidate their prior knowledge and give them a first-hand experience to see hotel operations. Of course, students had to complete their observation report as part of their assessment!
