Congratulations to Initiation Programme (IP) students for their completion of adaptation programme

20th January marked the graduation of our IP students who have successfully undergone a half-year adaptation programme. Not only do the students showed a good adaption to their new home (Hip Wo Delia and Hong Kong), they also made new learning buddies who will continue their learning journey together in the mainstream education. We look forward to seeing the graduates to prosper and call Hong Kong as their home.

Our school has been delegated by the Education Bureau (EDB) to organize full-time initiation programme for the newly-arrival children since 2003. This program offers educational support services for immigrants from Mainland China, non-chinese speaking children and returnees. Students can adapt to life in Hong Kong by attending the program first. The objectives of the initiation program for newly arrived children include:

• Enhancing students English and Chinese Language standard

• Helping students adapt to life and personal development in Hong Kong

• Providing students with local authentic learning experiences
