Hipworriors inspired to look for their GOLD MEDAL(s) by DeeDee Trotter’s Talk
On 17th March, a group of Hipworriors attended a talk entitled “Unleash Your Inner Champion” by DeeDee Trotter, Olympic track and field gold medalist which was organized by the Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation, Hong Kong Direct Subsidy Scheme Schools Council and EF Education First. In the talk, DeeDee shared her unique Olympic journey, including her fatal injuries and how she overcame the obstacles. Through this platform, they were empowered to discover their inner champion and strive for the gold medal of their lives. Definitely, the talk promoted positive mindsets and values among our Hipworriors and reinforce our school motto “Strive for advancement, despite adversity”!
