Ali captained and led Hong Kong Schools Hockey Team to an unstoppable victory

Khan Muhammad Ali of S5 recently captained the hockey team of Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation Schools Interport and won the Macau Boys Hockey Team with a 10-0 score on 14th April. Ali and two of our students, Qismat and Umer were selected by HKSSF in Hong Kong. Ali was given the armband to lead the team. A total of six goals were concealed by our students; Ali (3 goals); Qismat (2 goals) and Umer (1 goal).

Ali shared his thoughts on the victory:

The match started off with a fast pace and we managed to score within the first two minutes and as we scored the first goal our team got more confident and went to go and score the second goal in the 8th minute. After that our team got the rhythm of the game and kept going strong against the opponents. First half score was 5-0 and second half was 10-0. The game was well played by the team in terms of teamwork; tactics and of course showing our sportsmanship throughout.

Stay tuned, our Hip Wo Hockey Squad will be playing in Thailand for an invitation match!
