Our Arts Formula: Creative Confidence > Technical Drawing Skill
Recently, it was the turn of the Arts Club to host the lunch activity. You might think that only students who are good in Arts would only take part but this was not the case. There is a lot that goes into drawing ability. Self-confidence was one of them and the other was teamwork.
Participants work in pairs to complete the task, one took the role of a sketcher and the other would guess which drawing his/her partner attempted to sketch. Of course, a small reward was given to these lovely participants.
The activity was able to deliver the message that creative confidence is more important than drawing skills when one wishes to hone their drawing skills. Therefore, believing that you can draw, as well as enjoying the act of drawing, are as important – no, MORE important – than technical drawing skills.
So why not try it?
