Have you BYOD for learning in 2018/19 school year?
Our school will adopt the “Bring Your Own Device” (BYOD) policy to further exploit the advantages of using the WiFi facilities and mobile computer devices in learning since our first implementation in 2012. Our BYOD will be implemented in all secondary One, Four and Six classes in the coming academic year 2018/19.
Parents and students need not to worry about the financial burden that BYOD will create. The school has already put in place a safety net to cater for the needs of low-income families since 2017/18 school year. This new BYOD policy will be covered by the Community Care Fund Assistance Programme Provision of Subsidy to Needy Secondary Students for Purchasing Mobile Computer Devices to Facilitate the Practice of e-learning.
Our IT department will be announcing more details and if you have any questions, you may contact Mr. Mok at 2342 3198 for more details.
