THIRD term’s highlight: Local Academic Activities (English & Science Camp)
Participating in academic camps that provide opportunities to students to further explore their interest in relevant discipline is import and it is a way to further explore and learn in a non-traditional manner. Likewise, of the different camps that were arranged, we wish to highlight two camps, namely the English and Science Camp. They were arranged for students who showed interest in either enhancing their English proficiency/assist in designing activities to help schoolmates to learn English or put theories they learnt in Science classes into practice.
From the atmosphere of these camps, it was observed that students participating in the English Camp were able learn English in a fun and interactive way. In addition, it was a platform for English Camp ambassadors to design and implement activities for our student-participants to learn English through games. While for those who were in the Science Camp provided a platform for students to have hands-on experience in Science and opportunity to work as team to solve daily problems with Science.
